StockAssist is our cloud hosted inventory management system. Therefore, an installation needs no it infrastructure other than a wireless network. The system uses a wireless handheld computer with an integrated 2D laser barcode scanner to record all stock movements. Users can use an any computer to log on to a website which enables adding and editing or product details and full reporting on stock location and use.
StockAssist functions well with GS1 and HIBC (Healthcare Industry Barcode) barcodes. This means that the barcode on a stock item can contain not only what the product is, but also information such as its expiry date and lot number.
StockAssist uses this information to ensure optimal stock rotation, and ensure that expired products are not used. StockAssist also keeps a complete record of what stock items are used and when. This information is invaluable when a supplier recalls a product.
There are three defined StockAssist packages available as outlined below, however, these can all be individually tailored to the exact requirements of an installation.
